Down the road a bit....
Almost heaven, West Virginia … then the rain.
Smooth sailing through Indiana and camping in Western Indiana ( Crawfordsville, on I-74 ).
Wow, there really is a Peoria, right in the middle of Illinois. Crossed over the Mississippi River and found ourselves in beautiful, exciting Iowa - land of corn and the bridges of Madison county. We really appreciated the wireless internet at all the rest stops in Iowa –can you imagine NJ doing that?
Bill Bryson would be amazed and proud of his home state.
Looks like camping in Nebraska tonight a little west of Omaha. Yep, here we are west of Omaha and they are having the NCAA baseball world series. People from all over. Great campground and the wireless works – Yeah! Nothing like using your computer in the tent. Oregon beat UC-Irvine – too bad McCorkles!

Peoria - home of Mike's grandparents. Omaha - home of his best army buddy. Sounds like you're traveling a route we often take. Hope you're enjoying it as much! And that your tent doesn't leak!
Well...what's up? Where you be?

Welcome to the Wild West. I love it here. It would be very difficult to move back to NJ after finding my slice of heaven in Colorado. I look forward to following your adventures.

We were talking about you guys at the Lite Bite this morning. Were going to call but remembered you were at least a time zone away and thought it might be too early.
Keep up the blog entries!
