Well Winnemucca didn't disappoint. Great little town in the middle of nowhere - but casinos and great atmosphere - real wild west. Would be a great place to spend some downtime. Western Nevada was really otherworldly, with a heavy wind coming against us and little twisters running across the open spaces leaving trails of sand and salt in their wake. We entered California and went straight to Lake Tahoe. Wow!! A beautful pristine Alpine lake surrounded by pine covered mountains. Camped last night in South Lake Tahoe amid the pines alongside a creek.
Made our way to this rustic cafe with internet.

Man I can't wait to get to California. Especially for the beaches and the redwoods.
I'm in New Mexico now and it's too hot.
